a boy who doesn’t know how to shoot, hunt, fish, never been on a bull or bronc, never been muddin, and only has one pair of boots, and they usually have some form of an american flag on them. He usually listens to rap but when he wants to be country he’ll put on some morgan wallen or luke combs, maybe some alan jackson if he’s more educated. He doesn’t know what hey dudes are, never heard of ariat or hooey or justin, and he probably has a straw hat from tractor supply and sits in his room all day playing video games.

The genre is a combination of live instruments, Soul, Gospel, Church influence and is typically a bit slower, usually the lyrical content has a deep meaning to make up for the lack of rhyme patterns. Whole Country to Ourselves

A phrase used to denote that a couple of men, who are both in relationships, are free to act like men and otherwise play and engage in general stupidity.
Taken originally from a skit on the comedy show 'The Kids in the Hall' in which the wives of a pair of married men leave on a short vacation. The two married men are now able to party and generally act foolish, exclaiming, "The wives are gone, we have the whole country to ourselves!" before embarking on an, apparently, nationwide party.
Currently, the term is used on any occasion when a small group of men (not less than two, not more than five) are allowed to generally have a good time because their wives are otherwise engaged.

Note: Often accompanied by an impromptu victory dance, during the saying of, 'Whole country to ourselves!'
man1: Dude, my wife is going out on girl's night!

man2: I know, -mine is going too!

man1: Looks like-

man1 & man2: -we've got the whole country to ourselves!
