Hard Problem of Objective Reality

The metaphysical vertigo induced by asking whether reality exists independently of our perceptions, and if so, what we can possibly know about it. This is philosophy's oldest headache: the world seems real, but everything we know about it comes through senses that can be fooled, a brain that interprets, and language that shapes. The Hard Problem isn't solipsism—most people agree something exists out there. The problem is that we can't climb outside our own consciousness to see reality raw and unmediated. We're forever looking through a window smudged with our own fingerprints, trying to describe the view.

Hard Problem of Truth

The fundamental puzzle of what truth actually is, before we get into which truths are true. Is truth correspondence to reality? Coherence with other beliefs? Practical usefulness? Social consensus? Divine revelation? Each definition has its champions and its fatal flaws. The Hard Problem is that we use "truth" constantly—in science, in law, in everyday life—but when asked to define it, we flail. It's like time: we know what it is until someone asks. This problem haunts every field because every field claims to pursue truth, yet none can definitively say what they're pursuing.

"Your honor, I swear to tell the truth. But the Hard Problem of Truth means philosophers can't agree on what truth is, so technically I'm swearing to something undefined. Can I get a ruling on whether correspondence theory or pragmatism applies in this courtroom?"

Hard Problem of Reality

The ultimate existential headache: what is reality, really? Not just what's in it, but what it is. Is reality physical matter? Mental construction? Information? Simulation? Mathematical structure? The Hard Problem is that every answer generates more questions. If reality is physical, what are thoughts? If reality is mental, what are rocks? If reality is information, what's the substrate? Science pushes back the frontier of explanation but never reaches the final answer—it tells us how reality behaves, not what it is. The Hard Problem of Reality is that we're inside the thing trying to understand the thing, with no outside view available.

The Problem

In what way am I the problem Anna? Is it wrong-think? Is it wrong-speak? Is it not loving the Jews enough or is it deriding the people who dehumanized and belittled me? What? Is it "Not all women" now? Is it weaponized schizophrenia isn't the line, you get to draw the line?

Hym "I'm not confused about what is happening here. I laid it out in great detail. I explained why it was wrong and probably illegal. I said it would get people misdiagnosed and/or murdered. I said people would likely kill themselves. I said it would be used as a pretext to steal my success from me. And... ALL OF THAT IS HAPPENING! THE ONLY GOOD THING HAPPENING IN RESPONSE TO WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS NOT THE RESULT OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO ME BUT RATHER THE NATURAL BYPRODUCT OF ME BEING BETTER (WITHOUT A SINGLE FUCKING EXCEPTION) THAN FUCKING EVERYONE! The problem here is not that I won't lower myself to be your equal, it's that one of us is never wrong and the other is having professional level glass-blowers who have the glass-blowers diseases vigorously puffing smoke up your ass while the creator of AI deteriorates in front of everyone live."

The problem being

The only women I interact with are ones that approach me and what I'm making them uncomfortable sinole by virtue of existing proximally. I am not harassing any women in the workplace and I am in fact being harassed in the workplace... In a manner that resembles the delusions of reference commonly associated with schizophrenia. And there you sit... Downplaying the significance of the latter... And lying blatantly about the former. Additionally, I refuse to do whatever social engineering bullshit this is supposed to be or whatever you're trying to turn it into.

Mental Problems

Unless it isn't the result of a mental problem but rather it's easier for your to presuppose mental problem than it is 'you deserve to be murdered for knowingly and willingly immiserating people and that was happening to that guy in explicit terms by the people around him claiming he has memtal problems IN SPITE OF THE FACT that the clinicians said he DOESN'T.' Additionally, this doesn't immiserate you. THIS remediates MY problem and what I do if it doesn't will be immiserate you.

Hym "I mean, as a Catholic conservative, there are only 3 possibile explanations to you. 1. Mental Problems. 2. Evil. And 3. (in the case of Israel Palestine for example) KILLING Evil. So, the clinician said he DOESN'T and his coworkers say he DOES. BOY DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR! So, to say that anyone does what that guy did must have mental problems would be 'denying the antecedent.' It sounds to me like everyone around him was insisting that he had mental problems he didn't actually have and that day he had finally had enough so he killed them all. And the passengers were just collateral damage. We are fighting a war that YOU PEOPLE instigate and refuse to end and WHEN YOU LOSE (In the form of child murder or plane crash) the war you started the people involved are going to pretend to be bystanders and they are going to escape the accountability your pretend to care so much about."
