Test Anxiety

The stressful feeling of wanting to do well on an exam that overwhelms you before or during an exam which leads to being afraid of failing

Due to my test anxiety telling me to not fail the exam, my brain completely went blank and I had absolutely no idea what to do to answer the questions. FML.

glucose tolerance test

A four-letter word: hell. Doctors usually order this if you're at risk for diabetes. You are forced to fast prior to the test which can last up to five hours and your blood is taken every half hour.

I can only work part-time tomorrow because I have a glucose tolerance test tomorrow. If the test comes back and says I have diabetes, then I'm probably screwed.

The Stairs Test

A term used when writing Harry Potter fanfiction (mostly on Ao3) where a character finds out they're trans by going up the "wrong" stairs in the dorms of Hogwarts. The stairs only allow one gender to come up them (Male or female), and when a canonically Male character (primarily Harry) is able to go up the stairs in a fanfic, it serves to move the plot forward.

FitnessGram Pacer Test

The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. You run back and forth for as many laps as possible until you just can't do anything at all. This can be used as a way to describe how difficult something is.
