One Main Wonder

Those who had been or are in the competitive side of gaming will mostly relate, a One Main Wonder is, in simpler terms: an individual who can only win if said individual is using her/his main, they can be easily spotted by their lack of ability or lack of interest in learning to use different characters, or has been playing that character for too long and is stuck in a zone of comfort, this however brings a much extense debate whenever it is ok or not to be a O.M.W. but it all comes down to what kind of game they play, for Fighting games, One Main Wonders are not much of a problem, all it takes is the right character to counter his/her character, on online competitive however (LOL, OW, FORTNITE, SSBU and so on...) can be a problem, you play to support your team and carry out your role effectively in order to acchieve victory, if a One Main Wonder can only use a character that does not fit the role your team needs, you will have a hard time battling the enemy.

Guy 1: Man, I got beaten by that dude over there at SSFV, his Chun Li is strong.
Guy 2: Yeah bro, he is such a One Main Wonder.

Guy 1: Dude, we need a healer! please switch from Hanzo!
Guy 2: Naw man, we can win, I have 50 kills.

Wonder Check

In the US, an employer is required to pay an employee for ones's time on the job, and may only be withheld up to 30 days. To some, this means signing onto a job, working for a limited amount of time, demanding for their paycheck, and leaving.

This reflects an incompetent hiring process and lowers morale.

In some cases, they will call and/or come in, asking if they can/will receive their paycheck on payday.

A Wonder Check is called such because it leads others to wonder how they earned it in the first place, and wonder why they left at all.

"A Janice called, and left her name and number."
"What did she need?"
"She asked if she could grab her paycheck Friday, but I don't ever remember seeing her here before."
"Oh yeah, she worked here for a day and never came back."
"I see, she just wanted her Wonder Check. Glad she stopped me from doing my job to ask about her nickels and pennies."
