Working Out Pi

When both professional and amateur mathematicians worldwide go beyond calculating the number π to billions of digits to often set up world records—their effective algorithms or methods or formulas used to achieve these high-precision calculations also directly or indirectly help usher in new developments in mathematics.

The mathematical brethren’s quest for working out pi is like MAGA patriots doing all they can to ensure that their cult leader gets reelected by any means, legal or not.

Not All Pi’s Are Created Equal.

When the number pi looks so different when she dresses up in various typefaces or fonts (regular, italic, bold, bold-italic)—her facial expression or mood changes in different typographical settings.

Unlike in Helvetica or Times New Roman, the number pi looks quasi-unrecognizable in Avenir Next, be it in regular, italic, or bold. They’re not being critical when they commented that not all pi’s are created equal.

Pi Therapy

Like maggot therapy, pi therapy is inexpensively or therapeutically effective in soothing the oft-stressed geeky mind, which is often inundated with misinformation or disinformation coming from all angles of the information superhighway.
