Parents:"what are you talking about?"
Me:"The replacement controller for my PS4"
Parents:"oh that. We said no last time"
Me:"you said...NVM"

I'll think about it

A polite way for parents to tell their child "No" to something.
Oftentimes this gives the kid false hope that the parent has a chance of saying "yes".

Kid (Who is 10): Can I have GTA5?
Parent: I'll think about it.
Kid: Okay, hopefully you're gonna be fine with it!
