A word to describe a digital image just before someone infringes on its copyright by handing out rights to distribute it to a website called Pinterest, without the permission of the image's creator.

"Oh, this is pinteresting! I will add this to my digital image hoard on Pinterest! Hopefully I will earn the approval of my followers when they repin the image to their own digital hoard, copyright infringement is so worth it. God forbid I should consider the consequences of my actions on the person who created this pinteresting image."

A person who stays up hours beyond their bedtime looking at and/or pinning items to Pinterest.

Pinteraddict: I can't stop searching other people's pinterest boards and creating boards of my own. Oh there's another thing I can pin to my **** board (think to myself: but will probably never do)

Hubby: Honey, you're still up?

Pinteraddict: Uh, yeah?

Hubby: You almost done?

Pinteraddict: yeah, almost done.

Hubby: Seriously? Do you know what time it is?

when one of your guy friends posts that he joined pinterest and you make him realize that he is the only guy you know who is on pinterest and that only women are commenting on his post about pinterest and he quickly deletes his pinterest account out of fear of losing his man card.

it is very rare that you hear guys having a conversation about pinterest, but 9 out of 10 women you know has one and talks about it at every social gathering. when one of your guy friends says he has a pinterest or is thinking about joining pinterest you and your buddies stage a pintervention to save your friend's potential man card revocation.
