Also, jip is another way of saying INSANELY COOL.

A Hippie with a job. Similar to Mippies, Jippies are people who prefer a Hippie lifestyle, but they have high-paying jobs ergo a lot of disposable income. Monday-Friday they go to their full-time, life-sucking day jobs, but on the weekends, they drive around in tricked-out 1980's (or earlier) VW Vanagons and smoke a lot of medical marijuana (MM).

Joe: Hey Jim, what did you do this weekend?
Jim: Dude, it was so cool. I got lost in my Westy on some Eastern Sierra fire roads and got totally stoned on some excellent MM (medical marijuana).
