Attempting to create their own platforms results in the shadowy players getting ISP'S and Server Hosts to deny them service, thus leaving them essentially voiceless in today's society. Someone leaving a blue state like California, Illinois, or New York to seek freedom from high taxes, over regulation, and overall progressivism by escaping to a red state.

Barbara is a blue state refugee; she’s from Los Angeles and moved here because she was tired of the high taxes.
Alex moved his family from Chicago to Dallas because he wanted to live in a more family oriented place. He’s what is called a blue state refugee.

One that has gone to great lengths to escape the unrelenting grips of the US Governmental ban on TikTok, typically by utilizing alternate authentic Chinese entertainment apps.

After the US ban on TikTok, I had no choice but to switch apps and become a TikTok refugee, after which I was often greeted in the comments by Chinese users saying “hello TikTok refugee, I am Chinese spy, give me your data or show me your cat”
