Feing

Feing is a German/Bavarian slang word meaning "Figure" "Fig" or "Fig Tree". Most used as the Phrase "Figure it out". Or if you call some one Feing, you are calling them a Figure or Figure head. It was invented through the German word Fein meaning Fine or Delicate. Then the G was added for whatever reason and the meaning was invented. It is meant as a respectful term, not one of hate.

In German "Dieser Mann ist Feing." In English "That man is Feing." Meaning he is their Boss, or Figure Head. It can also be used in this type of sentence "Das ist ein Feing Mann" In English it says "That is a Feing man." Meaning that the man is numbered, or carries rank.

Tumblr Feminism

The school of feminist thought that, instead of fighting for gender equality, is more concerned with seeming liberal and feminist and not actually *being* feminist. This is often achieved through strict internet doctrine and openly ostracizing those who do not agree with them. One other symptom of Tumblr Feminism is that, when asked to explain their opinions, sufferers will get angry and storm off rather than actually answering the question. Similar words and ideas include Feminist Nazi, fringe feminists, and feminventing.

Origin: The term "Tumblr Feminism" derives from the social media site Tumblr, which is one of the major gathering places of those with such beliefs. However, Tumblr is not the only site this phenomenon is present, and likewise, not all feminists on Tumblr are true "Tumblr Feminists."

"She told me that I was anti-woman for thinking strip clubs are wrong. Don't strip clubs actually contribute more to the objectifying of women, which is detrimental to female rights?"
"Yeah, don't put much stock into what she says about the matter. She's a Tumblr Femininist."

"Because she believes in Tumblr Feminism, she is against all forms of shaming. Unless, of course, it involves shaming someone who has a different opinion than her."

A girl (or boy, but generally a girl) who thinks that re-blogging photos from their parent's basement on a MacBook that they didn't buy with their own money is "being an activist" when in reality they have probably never gone to a protest, fundraiser, or meeting for any social justice organization and probably never will cause any civil change in their lifetime. Similar to a "Facebook Activist" a la the Kony 2012 viral video.

A Tumblr Feminist will also post pictures of themselves naked or half-naked on the internet and claim it is "art" and attack any person who talks about their body (despite the fact they posted their tits on the internet).

"Amy is a total Tumblr Feminist, one time she wrongfully accused that guy of rape just to get some twitter followers."

adj. : Beliefs and practices that coincide with the "Third-Wave" feminist idea that people's feelings and emotions must be treated as delicate and fragile. Common on university campuses in the forms of "trigger warnings" and "safe spaces."

A: I thought the ghost of Martin Luther King Jr. was giving the commencement speech for the university.
B: He was, but since he discusses real equality, a couple white feminists felt he didn't acknowledge the "lived experiences" of black people. They felt this was triggering so they used a hashtag campaign to get him banned.
A: But i though universities were where people went to have the hard conversations, work through them and better society as a result.
B: They use to be, but since fainting couch feminism took over, they're just places young adults go to be coddled like children for $40k a year.
