Spongebob Shoes

A general term for ugly black shoes, usually curving up at the tip and making a squeaking sound when walking. Mostly worn by the nerdy kid at school or overweight teacher. A prime example would be old school New balance, and if you want to take the aesthetic further, add some white striped tube socks.

Them- “Hey, remember those old black shoes you mom used to make you wear in elementary school?”

Me- Uggh yes! Those ugly spongebob shoes!

Foot attire generally worn by individuals possessing small penises, large egos, and a trust fund courtesy of their parents. Boat shoes are usually seen being sported by yuppies and other terrible people. Boston college accounts for the majority of boat shoe sales.
