Facebook Friend Request Purgatory
the act of neither confirming nor ignoring friend requests of those that I full well know and remember, but who have thrown me even the SLIGHTEST bit of shade in the past. I instead leave them to linger for days, weeks and sometimes a full month in 'friend request purgatory'--for punishment... and purification--before finally accepting their requests and welcoming them into "heaven" (i.e. my friend list)

A girl or boy who you have never met, looks attractive on facebook or on any other social network, but in real life when you finally meet them, you think wow that person is not attractive at all and has disgusting characteristic. Facebook pretty shows that pictures can be deceiving.

It is a way to show how much of a douche bag you are. Facebook noobs are known to go crazy with a whole bunch of random, pointless, and meaningless applications installed on the profile. But the usage of facebook applications usually die down for most people.
