To create a lot of hype around something, get large amounts of people "hooked", then close up shop, runaway, then hide behind legal rhetoric all the while still building themselves up to be hip, new, wonderful, & fresh...

"Gregory put tons of photos on Yahoo! Photos and a lot of time and energy into "Yahoo! 360. Yahoo shut both down. After moving to other sites, I fear that my new web services might "Pull a Yahoo!" and do the same thing as Yahoo!"

Sentence: "I sure hope Multiply.com don't pull a Yahoo!"

1)To honestly believe that in all your technological glory you have correctly saved any collectively created collaborative group work to a computer, online server, external hard-drive, jump-drive, or any other electronic device so that it is easily retreivable when in reality you have misplaced and deleted it.
2) To label any misplacement of electronic data as a technical issue.

*drops pencil to ground*
Brian: "oops, I pulled a paik"

Andrew decided not to study for a test, and failed every quiz up to the drop deadline.
