Pay-to-progress

It's another, less significant version of pay-to-win. It might be a free game at first glance, but after playing for a few levels it becomes pay-to-win because things would get increasingly harder which forces you to pay.
Most of these are mobile games, as PC game makers would rather charge you, but iirc some takes form of DLCs.

Capitalism, eh?
Ethan: Dude I cannot break this level it is so goddamn hard!
Me: These MMORPGs are pay-to-progress man, if you don't pay, you just can never break this level. Things that are free are the most expensive, you know.

Thanks in Pay

A backronym for “tip” or gratuity. Tipping can be seen as a way of thanking a person for good services, so “thanks in pay” works pretty well.
The waiter was friendly and attentive, so I thanked him with a good tip.

Ah, so a tip is a thanks in pay!

Pay Day

A Pay Day is when you have unprotected anal sex and you get a small peanut lodged in your pee hole.
You then find a friend and pee on them, shooting the peanut in their direction, like the Pay Day candy bar.
Charles played a prank on me by hiding my phone. I got him back with a Pay Day! Boy was he surprised.

Vlad the Imp (Pays L'hier)

person. Russian leader famous for his diminutive stature, broad puckish sense of humour, and his misguided desire to restore the glories of yesterday to his country. The practical jokes he has played on Europe, often involving complex troop movements, false accusations of Nazification, and massive death counts, are considered by some to be legendary, although, admittedly, you really had to be there, trembling under his maniacal gaze in the Kremlin war office, to truly appreciate his wit.

..............................
I hear Vlad the Imp (Pays L'hier) will visit Paris in the spring. He plans to see the sights, destroy the sights, then crap in Napoleon’s alabaster sarcophagus.

What a joker!
