Trophy Walk

1. When an individual carries out what may normally be called the "walk of shame", but is actually accompanied by an individual with whom they "hooked-up". The escort is no longer augmenting shame, but is in fact a "trophy" or prize; as if one is walking the winner's circle.
2. Being walked back to your place with last night's (usually random) hook-up. That person is the "trophy".
"How was the walk of shame for you this morning?"
"It wasn't. He walked me back to my place!"
"Ohhh, so you trophy walked"

walking the bar

The practice of rhythm and blues horn players (quintessentially tenor sax players) to literally get up on the bar during a tune and walk it from one end to to the other, riffing and honking. Typical in the 1940's and 50's, it was deemed a display of machismo and virtuosity.
A friend of mine reported seeing tenor saxophonist Illinois Jacquet walking the bar in St. Louis. He moved along. playing and kicking over drinks as he went. One patron, objecting to the endeavor, pulled a switchblade knife out and stuck it into the bar in Illinois' path. When Jacquet came to that spot, he peered over his horn at the knife, turned around, and continued to play as he retraced his path.

Walk of Dignity

Similar to Curb Shame. The manner in which a true man walks across a road whilst cars are approaching him. Whilst a lesser mortal would quicken his pace, thus removing all claims to valour and honour, the true man undertakes the Walk of Dignity and continues to stride across the road with purpose and direction. Often performed by Alpha Males or deities.
"Yo Deez, you see tha' whitey cross the road? He rockin' that Walk of Dignity like a mother******!"
