Dueling Banjo's Syndrome

A term used in describing bugs or errors in software. When using two (or more) external libraries, api's or systems that operate against the same area of concern, it is possible that they will not play well and cause very hard to trace errors.

jQuery and Angular.js both working against the same piece of the DOM. jQuery's cached version may not update in the rendered output because Angular has replaced the DOM object with another version, severing the connection that jQuery had. jQuery and Angular.js can cause Dueling Banjo's Syndrome.

Ghost Cutting Syndrome

A feeling that some people who have recovered for cutting have sometimes. In moments when in the past they would have cut, they experience the physical pain they experienced when they cutted. Their mind replays the pain as it associates this bad moments with the physical pain of cutting.

I am experiencing Ghost Cutting Syndrome.

I know Ghost Cutting Syndrome is not nice, but it will disappear in a while.

Disapproving Dad Syndrome(DDS) refers to the situation in which your partner's dad(Usually a female partner) disapproves of the relationship between you and your daughter. Has several magnitudes ranging from mild annoyance to full-out disallowing her to see you.

"Man, I met Sarah's parents and her dad just sat there and stared at me. I think I've got a good case of Disapproving Dad Syndrome."

Living with an Allie Syndrome or LWAAS is common if you are currently living or will be living with a woman and or man by the name of Allie or Allison. LWAAS is a very serious life altering syndrome. You may be suffering from it if you have recently started laughing uncontrollably loud at ridiculous shit, having cravings to feng shui your living area late at night, getting blackout drunk every night, yelling at anyone and anything that walks by you, wetting the bed, and running everywhere like your being chased by a rapist.
