The leader effect

A political and psychological phenomenon where people hate a leader, vote or fight to remove them, then later start wishing they were back in charge — usually after experiencing disappointment with their replacement.

The cycle goes like this:

1. “This leader is awful!”

2. “Let’s get someone better.”

3. “Wait, this is worse.”

4. “Maybe the old guy wasn’t so bad after all…”

5. “We need him back!”

This happens with dictators, presidents, prime ministers — anyone in charge. The Leader Effect is fueled by nostalgia, frustration, instability, and unrealistic expectations.

"Voters switching from Trump to Biden, then wanting Trump back shows The Leader Effect."

Compleatly screwing over everyone in the direct vicinity. often, telling people to do things one day and wanting it sooner. and using goody two shoes who have it done as an example that the rest of us suck.

Kill The Leader

The act of tearing off the first sheet(s) of toilet paper from the roll (especially in public toilets) to prevent the spread of disease or non-hygienic remnants left over from the last user.

To tear off the leader of toilet paper from the roll in order to prevent disease transmission to the new user's anus and/or genitals.

Salty Squad "Leader" : Adjective: the leader of a squad, who refuses to recognize how important each member is. Typically believes that his actions alone can guarantee a vicotry or win in the underlying event. Will give props to another member of the squad when they do well, however, he believes it was a direct result of him being there.
