A portmanteau of "Job" and "Hobby"; usually derived from the fact you live paycheck to paycheck in a capitalist hellscape, Your Hobby becomes a source of side-hustle income that you tend to rely on, rather than it simply being a way to relax and gain enrichment as a human.

Ironically, as a nod to the definition across the pond, it does, in fact, feel like shit.

"I like to crochet, but in the winter it becomes my Jobby."

"Nah, that's not a serious vendor, thats someone with a Jobby. if theyre still here and selling in 3 years, then theyre serious."
