This usually happens when people from relatively humble beginnings make it into middleclass/upper middleclass and start giving unsolicited advice to massage their ego or make it seem like they are helping you. They tend to become know it all's and wont let you get a word in, wont accept there are other ways of doing things or just assume they are always right.

Since he made VP, all he talks about is how he can help you advance your career and be like him, i think he has successful nigga syndrome
