Madador

a lifer server (that is usually male) who has worked ten years or more at a Mexican restaurant. Once was every customers, co-workers and managements favorite but given age, time spent there, lack of days off, no benefits or significant other has become irritable, jaded, and angry about one or several combinations of the above listed items.

Did you hear about what Salvador did? He didn't refill his tables drinks, told the guests to get their own bean dip and let their hot plates get cold. He's turning into a Madador.

Same as booby hatch, funny farm, "insane asylum", "loony bin", "nut house", "cuckoos nest" etc.

After I had a nervous breakdown, I was admitted to the Macadamia ranch for a little mental vacation.
