Thetty Eff

The abbreviation of Thetford Forest, a tree plantation in the East of England, straddled across the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Whilst actually just a glorified tree farm it doubles as a leisure centre for a whole host of activities including: rambling, family days/picnics, segwaying, mounting biking, dog/cat walking, deer stalking, casual hedonism and whole host of other passion filled activities. Almost exclusively used by folk originating from East Cambridgeshire 15 years ago; it appears that in recent years that usage has spread nationwide.

"who are ya, who are ya? Thetty, Thetty Eff!"
"Looks like im going to be swinging off a tree at gape on a corporate do" "gape?" "YEAH, THETTY EFF"

Mother Eff

A 'cleaner' version of Motherfucker, without the "fucker". However, the term is used as if you were simply saying 'damn' or 'fuck', not as if you were saying MF.

This is often heard in very conservative boarding schools, where the students are warned not to use any explicit language, or severe consequences will follow.

1. "Mother Eff", I got an F in that English paper.
2. mom- "GO TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE"
son- "Right while I was watching the mighty boosh, Mother Eff"
3. "Mother Eff", that sucks.

A synonym for "What the fuck" in a kinder manner.
Also used to get into the holiday spirit.

An exclamation used when surprised or discontented. Can be a substitute for cussing. May actually gradually replace cussing and destroy bad habits.

Hey you just won the lottery.
