Real 80s Writer

A graffiti writer that painted a little bit for a couple of years in the late 1980s. Returned to the scene to show everyone who’s boss during a midlife crisis demanding the respect of a graffiti king. Will use old school rules when it suits him. Hates street art. Gets pleasure from painting violent and abusive threats in childrens’ play parks. Internet troll and alcohol fuelled keyboard warrior. Must have an Instagram account to gain validation from strangers. Will not write within his postcode. Will put up the names of his pets to make it look like he has an army.

Person 1: Someone painted over that lovely mural at the park with some hideous unreadable bubble letters.
Person 2: Yeah, it must have been a ‘Real 80s Writer’!

Real DJs Do Real Things

Coined back in 1994 by world famous mixtape DJ, DJ Emir. The phrase describes the types of actions and activities One would expect of a Real DJ.

Real DJs Do Real Things means: Doing things in a grandiose manner. Always delivering a strong performance even on his or her worst day. Being well respected, feared and/or hated by many who aren't doing things in a grandiose manner. Touring, showcasing and being featured around the globe. Constantly grinding, marketing, practicing and innovating to stay relevant in changing times. Always striving to become better, learning what they can from their peers and inspiring their peers to learn from them as well.

A Real DJ never simply copies, but rather takes an idea and makes it their own through uniquely applied changes and stylistic execution. Real DJs do their homework and come to the show prepared to amaze. Real DJs have burn out cross-faders. There are many more things we can list here but we'll leave it at: Real DJs make sure they leave everyone ultra happy, completely in awe and saying "damn that DJ made my day"

real time chump

A derogatory name for a person watching an episodic series during the actual time during which each episode is released to the public.

Matthew and Angelica are real time chumps; I much prefer watching a show after it's conclusion to being left hanging and glued to the TV every week like they are.

I was the biggest real time chump when the series Lost was being aired for the first time on ABC in the '00s.

Real Degenerate Hours

Real Degenerate Hours is a specific time between 2 AM to 5 AM where true degenerates are especially proactive. It is easy to tell that a degenerate apart from a normal human fucking being by the fact that nobody but them are awake at this god forsaken hour within a 3 square mile radius.
