'Ok boomer' - a phrase referring to the Baby Boomer generation, born between 1946 and 1964, but in general to anyone who looks older than 30 and has 'regressive' views. The phrase 'ok boomer' is used mostly by leftists when their viewpoint is challenged. Just like any joke the left makes, it has become unfunny to the point that it cannot be used ironically.

It is also a phrase uttered in conversation randomly and out of context when a person wants to feel cool, young and laid back, when in reality they are far past their teen years. It is also a way of identifying people who will be paying much higher taxes by the time they reach their mid 40s to pay for aged care for a higher proportion of pensioner aged people.
