A phrase used to describe the relationship between a man's behavior and his feelings within a relationship.
If it were important to him that you feel secure in the relationship, he would be transparent and honest.
If your happiness were important to him, he'd do things that bring you joy.
If he wanted to, he would.
If your happiness were important to him, he'd do things that bring you joy.
If he wanted to, he would.

A credibility contest between two men, where the truth of exactly what was verbally expressed is in question. This situation usually arises because there were no third-party witnesses, credible recordings, nor other facts that can substantiate one particular version of the story.
This neologism emerged out of the press reports that President Donald Trump had pressured FBI Director James Comey to drop the FBI's investigation into Michael Flynn's involvement with Russian officials.

Running out of intelligent things to say, the reporter unimaginatively stated that the James Comey memo situation was essentially a "He said, he said." type of affair.

The way of saying "I love him" but no homo.
In Voltron Legendary Defender, season 7 episode 4, "The Feud", the paladins of Voltron were told to choose the one person on the team that they wanted to get to leave the game and be safe. Lance McClain chose Keith Kogane. When Bob, the game show host asks why he chose Keith, Lance answers "He's our leader, plus he's half Galra, so I think he's, like, the future," while having soft eyes at Keith and blushing very slightly. This clearly meant something more because right after, Keith is acting very defensive.

Bob: Lance, who got your vote?
Lance: I voted for Keith. He's our leader, plus he half Galra, so I think he's, like, the future.
or
Guy 1: He's the future
Guy 2: You love him don't you?
Guy 1: Yeah... I do
