Nuke the Fridge

A phrase an Urban Dictionary user tried desperately to implement into circulation by using multiple fake accounts to post barely dissimilar "definitions". This tragic act was committed on May 26th 2008, in reference to the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones franchise.

"While I cannot deny that "Nuke the Fridge" is a witty correlation with the phrase "Jump the Shark", the desperation employed by it's fraudulent author reminisces of making up your own nickname. After 12 years I suppose it's not going to catch on."

A toy used for mental illnesses or something of at nature, like ADD, but is used as an expensive 'cool' thing to have by teenagers. Including elementary schools too.

Alex: Just a spin?
Jake: u got ADD?
Alex: Nah dude
Jake: I do. So no.

Fridge Opening Syndrome

When you repeatedly find yourself opening and staring blankly into your fridge at regular intervals without cause. It's a prime indicator of needing to either re-evaluate your purpose of existence, or go get some more groceries.

Mike: "Hey, you wanna go play Smash Bros?"
John: *opens and stares into his fridge*
Mike: "...bro you really gotta fix that fridge opening syndrome and find a hobby."
