ARMY is a collective term for the fans of popular South Korean boy-group, BTS.
ARMY stands for Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth, and ARMY is especially known by media to be an infinitely dedicated and loving fanbase for their beloved BTS. American media has taken note of this recently, but in Korea, ARMY has remained prominent over the last few years in the idol community.
Although ARMY is technically an abbreviation, hence the capitalization of its letters, it is much more common to see it being used as the improper noun “army” meaning legion of soldiers, and as such it can be lowercase with no periods denoting abbreviation.
Additionally, there are different subsections of ARMY.
• “K-ARMY” denotes Korean ARMY.
• “I-ARMY” denotes International ARMY, and basically means any BTS fans whose nationality isn’t Korean.

Person 1: Hey, do you listen to K-pop? I saw you followed EXO on Twitter.
Person 2: Yeah, I like K-pop. I mostly listen to boy groups like BTS.
Person 1: Oh, cool! Are you ARMY?

Groups of snobby, clicky people who hate on other people from great states such as New Jersey and New York. Specifically these groups tend to come from, but are not limited to, the state of Connecticut (whom by no means have the right to talk shit on anyone or any place, because their state is beat as fuck).
See toolbag, snob, stuck up, conceited , or clicky

Look at the group of armis Connecticut kids trying to look cool, even though their a bunch of tool bags!

land based branch of the U.S. Military. an underpaid, over-worked, under equipped fighting force run by all-knowing U.S. Senators, the deceptive C.I.A., money hungry corporate giants and an oil thirsty nation

The name for BTS's fandom, A.R.M.Y. (just ARMY plz). It stands for Adorable Representative MC for Youth. ARMYs have a good reputation but at the same time a bad reputation.
Good reputation: We support our 7 dorks with the power of a million loyal people and we break records and make their dreams come true~
Bad reputation: There are a lot of loyal fans but at the same time there are many that start fandom wars by disrespecting other fandoms, other groups, and talking back ten-fold to those who discriminate our 7 dorks.
If you are wondering, yes I am a completely "loyal" to Suga *I totally don't get bias wrecked by the other 6 dorks*

Are you an Army?
Any ARMYs here?
*when saying ARMY directed at multiple people it's not Armies or ARMY's, it's ARMYs

The branch of the military that gets to take cell phones to boot camp and gets to eat as much as they want at the chow hall, even if they're fat fucks. BTW, the next person who says marines are stupid and are waiters after they get EAS'd just needs to go look at Fortune 500 companies and see the vast majority of CEO's who were former marines compared to former soldiers...Pretty ridiculous considering there are about 180,000 marines and over 2 million soldiers. Marines join the Corps because they want discipline, not to mention the Marine Corps' amazing combat track record. (Some also join because of the "pussy magnet" dress blues, but who can blame them? Unlimited free drinks and pussy at any bar, why not?)
Soldier 1:Hey specialist, why did you shoot that Marine?
Soldier 2:I am scared and undisciplined so I shot the first thing that I saw move.
Soldier 1:It's ok, you're in the army, let me hold your hand and make sure you get double dessert tonight at the chow hall.

In reference to the U.S. Army: A branch of the U.S. military that specializes in ground combat involving infantry and armor units, though does use marine vessels and various air-crafts. They also employ airborne troopers such as the 75th Rangers. Enlistment offers many benefits such as the G.I. Bill, various opportunities to learn important skills for careers, a sense of patriotic pride, etc. Despite the many disputes concerning which branch of the U.S. military is "better", one must realize that all branches are cogs in a machine, and without one, the others could function to their full potential... Except for the National Guard, fuck those pussies.
Me: So I've finally enlisted in the Army.
Friend A: Nice! I just joined the Air Force, so if you need a strafing run, just call.
Friend B: I got accepted into the Naval Academy.
Me: Damn man, good job. Now then, if only we had a friend in the Marine Corps. We would have every branch covered.
Friend A: What about the National Guard?
Me: What about those pussies?
All start laughing.
