A background actor, is a performer in a film, television show, stage, musical, opera or ballet production, who appears in a nonspeaking or nonsinging (silent) capacity, usually in the background (for example, in an audience or busy street scene). Most of the time most of these background actors struggle to find permanent work in the industry and find it hard to pay the bills. Being a background actor is a way to get your feet in the acting door without having to go through arduous auditions and get paid to keep your head above water.
On a film or TV set, background actors are usually referred to as "background talent", "background performers", "background artists", "background cast members" or simply "background", while the term "extra" is rarely used these days. In a stage production, background actors are commonly referred to as "supernumeraries". In opera and ballet, they are called "supers".
Background Actors need to be fully committed to the production they have been chosen to work on and because the hours can be long

War films and epic films often employ background actors in large numbers: some films have featured hundreds or even thousands of paid background actors as cast members (hence the term "cast of thousands").

If being yourself was really all you could do, there would be no actors and actresses, and there would certainly be no actors/actresses, or imitators telling other people to be themselves.
An actor/actress knows how to pose as other people, they do it all the time. The reality is you can be yourself, and you can also be a poser your entire life, and plenty of the people telling other people to be themselves are busy being posers themselves.

term gangstalking MKULTRA perps used to describe themselves in voice-to-skull gaslight theatre.
In the 20th centuries, gaslight actors tortured Targeted Individuals, attempting to make them feel and appear mentally unstable.

On my voice-to-skull I encountered an endless barrage of gaslight actors I called the gaslight brigade. They were, like, "Hey, TI, this gaslighting hyper-game is kinda like a lifestyle. We love it. I'm targeting you with the third circle of hell!" And I was, like, "Cool Story, Bro, I just harrowed hell. I never gave a fuck about mind control. I am targeting you with a soggy piece of white bread. Take a slice of Sunbeam white bread and stick it in a glass of water and eat a soggy piece of white bread. I'm a GasLight nonactor. I saw what you did. I'm comin' for ya."
