One of the most prestigious schools in Shanghai.
Positives: The school is ginormous, the facilities are top-notch (ice rink, anyone?), and you can choose from up to 20 sports for PE. The IB program is one of the best in China, with 10% of students getting a full score of 45. Similarly, the school pumps out Ivy League acceptances. The fact that it is more Chinese than other international schools means there's not a lot of problems with bullying and underage drinking/smoking/vaping compared to other schools.
Negatives: The school is extremely Chinese for an international school, with 90% of the population being Asian. They are also very conservative, and prefer downplaying scandals before actually addressing the problem at the roots. The students here are very stressed bc teachers don't understand that students cannot do 3 hours of math homework every night. And it's funny how little the school teaches vs how hard the tests are. Without a tutor, you're screwed.
Oh yeah, forgot the GPA deflation. And how all the previously mentioned Ivy Acceptances are often hoarded by 1 person, though the school wouldn't tell you that.
But despite all these downsides, the students have an odd pride of being there. All in all, despite all the complaining the students does about their own school (and all the fantasizing they do about SAS), they ARE proud to be there.

Has had 3 school shooting threats in the last year, most teachers are either liberals or really chill. Lizards sometimes drag kids into the basements, counselors try to act like they care but they really don't nor do half the administration, the bathrooms always smell like shit there has been 30,000 dollars worth of damages in those bathrooms and kids are constantly vaping or smoking weed there are tranni bathrooms that are mainly used for sex, smoking, or taking the meanest shits. But besides that, its just normal high school, hard, annoying, long, and fun at times. And if your on the football team your pretty much going to have the american high school expierence of parties, lifting, teamwork, and hanging out with the bros.

Get the Lemont High school mug.A school where no one really cares about their education, maybe 60 at most in every 530 students in each graduating class takes their studies seriously and maybe less than one percent will go to a school harder to get into than University of south Florida. Trap music is blasted between classes and students will cuss your brains out and won’t mind using racial slurs even if they’re the race that those words are aimed at. 66% of students in each grade has a boyfriend, girlfriend or partner and although it’s not a problem, they often skip classes to make out. Some teachers are extremely lenient and won’t handle bullying unless you report it yourself, bystanders most likely won’t care and won’t bother to report bullying themselves when a student is vulnerable.
