It underscores the act of being hoodwinked through deliberate discrepancies and a “rope-a-dope” strategy where deceit is used by some within the company to their advantage. Moreover, it points to the behavior of certain higher-level managers who disregard company policies, leading their departments as if running their “own show” and enforcing their direction, often to the detriment of their teams and contrary to the collective goals of the company.
