Get the Milking the squidmug. A sometimes derogatory, usually joking adjective used to describe nerds and grinders. People who fit this description are extremely interested in STEM, (allegedly) intellectually superior, elitist, overly hardworking, and have few personality traits beyond studying and sweating. In some circumstances, the word 'squid' may be used as praise. Generally, a squid will evolve through the following stages: baby squid--> calamari squid--> giant squid--> colossal squid--> kraken. The squid is also the official mascot of the math team and is used on all the merch.

Get the dry squidmug. Squid roast is a derivative of the common Australian Vernacular phase "spit roast". a Spit Roast, in turn, is similar to the American root phrase "finger cuffs" made famous in the 1997 film Chasing Amy by Kevin Smith.
