Ambiguity Zone

Like the friend zone, but even worse. You are in this zone when there is uncertainty as to what will happen (e.g. when you send a risky text to a girl and you are waiting for a response).

I was in the ambiguity zone for fourteen straight hours! It was hell! I hardly slept!

Dance zone

A reoccurring phenomenon at salsa clubs where you dance with someone regularly but never have any real conversation or get to know them. A very platonic dance relationship. Similar to being in the friendzone

You: would you like to dance?
Her: sure

**you both dance**

You: Thank you
Her: Thank you

**you walk over to your friend**

You: Dude I think I'm in the dance zone with this girl

Phone Zone

Like the Friend Zone, only the Person in the 'Phone Zone' Is relegated almost exclusively to Phone Calls/iMessage/Snapchat etc.

So She cancelled the date without saying anything, didn't bother to apologize or reschedule, but wanted to facetime for god-knows how long...hoe tryna Phone Zone me lmao.

Crowd zoning is when you asks someone out, and instead of the person saying no or yes, he or she proposes to go out with a whole group.
This can happen while asking somone out in the presence of close friends.
Unlike the Friend Zone, you can come out of the crowd zone.

Lisa: ''Hey speaking about ice skating maybe we should to it some times.''
Mark: ''Even better we could go do it with everyone.''
Johnny: ''Did she just got Crowd zoned?''
Me: ''Yes she did.''
