Someone who is always down to hang out and spend time with you on your dime. Never has any money but always wants to go out to eat.
Them: Hey! Why didn't you invite Bella to lunch today?
Me: I would but shes always broke
Them: But she's your best friend
Me: *shrugs* Yeah my broke best friend

That friend in the group of females who acts overly protective and caring. She's typically overweight and not anywhere near as attractive as her other friends. Knowing she's not going to meet a good looking guy when she goes out, the mom friend overcompensates by acting like the mother and judging her friends for their wild and fun behavior.
Karen is such a mom friend. She'll be sure to remind her friends tomorrow how crazy they were acting at the bar.

January 31 is go shopping with your best friend day. You have to go shopping with your best friend on January 31.
"Hey do you wanna go shopping today?"
"Of course, it's go shopping with your best friend day, January 31!"

Mature way of saying "friends with benifits". Used when adults are in the beginning stages of a relationship when sex is encouraged by both parties.

A Rickyism for “friends with benefits”.
Ricky: “Maybe we can be friends with the Benedicts?”
Lucy: “Who are the Benedicts?”
Ricky: “ You know, those people you become friends with if you wanna bang each other with no things attached. Friends with the Benedicts.”
