A play off the term, "on like Donkey Kong", its "on like Shinobi" carries a subtle and abstract humor based on the fact that it completely doesn't rhyme, doesn't have the right amount of syllables for the format of this terminology and was a much, much less popular game.

His performance was simply amazing and nothing short of greatness. It was quickly touted as being one of the most stunning QB playoff performances of all time.
