when responding quickly in texting, the texter might respond "K" instead of typing out ok or okay... but will accidentally hit the "J" key instead of "K"...
"j is the new k" is like when referring to fashion and trends... "pink is the new red" "grey is the new black" or when someone gets a new boyfriend, "dave is the new john"

Get the New word i guess mug.A little town, well a village, in the fucked up state of Illinois. It is very small
HISTORY-named after some general, Ambrose Burnside i think, that fought in the Civil War.
WHATS THERE?-It is very boring there and has no jobs or anything important to really offer.
WHAT TO DO?-If you are kinda yound, then you should check out the old school. It's a lot of fun if you like to get in trouble. Theres also the cemetary, if you believe in supernatural stuff, like most do in the village, then you can play with Taro Cards there or with an Ouija Board.
WHOS THERE?- That is a damn good question. Whos there? Well, practically no one. Everyone is family with everyone. And they like to keep to themselves. So there arn't very many people to socialize with.

History- New Burnside used to be waaay more popular considering that it was named after a Civil War general, but I don't know what happened. Now we have less than 300 residents....

Get the New jersey giants mug.New Jersey is between DE, PA, NY and the ocean. If you were from the part of New Jersey outside New York, you're from North Jersey (not New York), and if you're from the part of New Jersey outside Philly, you're from South Jersey (not Philly). Most people from New Jersey already know that and would have it no other way. Going to Philly for events, dining, shopping, to visit people, and so on isn't having started life there. Knowing a few people there doesn't make them the people you started your life around.
New Jersey is between a lot of different things up north, though most people don't confuse it with anything else.
