Generally dressed in awful clothes that are too thing, short or smell like piss. Love to go to concerts where everyband name begins with the word "the" whilst telling everyone else there that "I knew who they were before you ALLL".
A step above scene but a step below chav, however indie kids will have characteristics of both social groups such as stupid fringes and inability to interact with other normal people.

The first way is to those who are being extremely indie are given cred for their efforts. The second way is, those who wish to have a bit more indie cred can trade something of theirs that is really indie, such as a pair of wayfarers preferably Ray bans, a pair of pointy shoes ect in exchange for cred from the indie man.
Though indie cred works both ways, you can also have indie cred taken off you; this usually occurs if the name of a certain indie thing is unknown, such as a band, or fashion trend. In this occurrence the indie man take something indie off you, as you are not deserving of it because you're not nearly indie enough.

Get the indie kidmug. Coined by Hadouken! during a ravenous sing song, a girl who wears polka dot dresses and has hair resembling that of a Lego lady. Often these people attend public school (or private school if your American) and are scenesters.
Often seen buying beads in ''alternative'' outlets and behaving moodily. A common misconception of these people is that they may have received some form of botox in the lips due to an irregular and permanent myspace pout or pulling a screwface.
Often indie cindy’s and their complimentary pink-polo and tight black jeaned male friends do not realise they are not needed at gigs and provide embarrassment for themselves and give bands they follow a bad reputation.
Apparently highly contagious, the QUELP Knights are currently searching for a cure; although the breed may eventually kill themselves if they chose to cross the road rather than going down the street.
