The belief that God created life using the evolutionary process as His method. It reconciles scientific evidence for common descent with religious belief in a purposeful creator. God is the author of the natural laws that produced evolution, and possibly intervenes in subtle, non-disruptive ways. It's the "compatible update" for religious belief, where the Bible's "days" are geologic epochs and Adam is a representative figure emerging from a population of hominins.

We’re not people who believe in things like an afterlife, deities, prayers, religious rituals, etc. A normal atheist has no real problem with other people being religious or spiritual, so long as they keep that to themselves and don’t try to force others to adapt to their beliefs.
I am an atheist. When I was about 12 years old, I realized that there is no such thing as a higher power, nor do we go anywhere after we die. Everything is stored in your brain, and when your brain ceases to function that’s the end of you. You just return to the same state of non-existence that existed before you were born.

- "Where Is He?" Atheist: an atheist who mocks the "second coming" due to their belief that it comes off as stalling by religious people.
- "Science Would Go Places" Atheist: an atheist who argues that religion is holding back major scientific advancements.
- Conservative Atheist: an atheist who holds right-wing political views. Conservative atheists are very rare, but they do exist.
- Angry Atheist: a lifelong atheist who is extremely hostile and confrontational. Angry atheists have an unbridled hatred for all religions and often seek to abolish them all entirely.
- Reddit Atheist: an atheist who frequently uses Reddit or is otherwise terminally online. Reddit Atheists are overwhelmingly toxic to the point where it severely affects their daily life. They are typically even more enraged and hostile than a normal angry atheist, do not listen to reasoning, refuse to debate anyone and regularly wish death upon religious people, among other things. Most "normal" atheists do not claim them.
It's OK to not believe in God. Just don't turn into a Reddit Atheist.
