libertarian

A political ideology of minimal government and maximum individual rights. Libertarians stress that the government is only in place to protect the individual's rights, and not to make choices for them.

However, Libertarianism has recently has been bastardized by teenage punks who want to seem cool.

Libertarian: Where do you stand politically?

Punk: Libertarian!

Libertarian: That's great! So are we still on for tonight?

Punk: Oh, I can't. I have to stop by the welfare office.

Liberté

A Liberté is a beautiful funny girl who usualy has brown eyes and bouncy brown hair. She's fun to be around and is great with animals. She is always dressed to kill and can make you laugh with very little effort. She gets scared by things that aren't scary. She has a great music taste. A liberté is a giant geek and is usually involved in lots of fandoms. She always looks great no matter what she's wearing even though she generally has a great sense of style. A Liberté almost never causes drama. She is supportive and is over all one of the best people you will ever meet.

2. An individual that assists in getting to the root cause of liberalism and their inevitable decline into communism.

libertarian socialism

An oxymoron-

Libertarian - values personal freedom, private property, and minimal inference of the state. Citizens are independent and self reliant.

Socialism - No private property, property is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.. Maximize the size of government and government intervention in the lives of its citizens. Citizens are dependant upon the State.

You can not be dependant and still be free.
Government is the only organization specifically granted the power to use force to achieve its goals.

people like Ron Paul, Jesse Ventura and Gary Johnson, the most reasonable standpoint
