defenition1: A guy or a girl who is more than a gentleman/respectful man or who would do anything to date that person which is never a bad thing, but boys overuse the word simp and use it as an insult to simps.

defenition2: a way to tell other guys to not be respectful to girls.

Josh: hey that girl is really pretty
nick: you are a simp you loser
kate: 1. he was just complimenting and that's not simping

2. a simp is way better than a fuckboy like you
