Town/Village in Upstate NY This was a fun town. Broad Street was the place to hang out after school. MVB was where all the Ichabod kids went to school for grades 3-5 the village was great
Then 2020 and Covid hit
The citiots arrived in droves from NY City, the same people who praised De Blasio and Cuomo for shutting things down to prevent the spread are the ones who left to come upstate due to far less restrictions. Kinderhook has become a nightmare full of rich, miserable white people. They walk around with their trophy dogs and let them shit all over the sidewalks. They frequently use walking sticks to keep their "balance" even though they look completely stupid and idiotic. It doesn't matter what time of day it is, they are out and are pissing off the locals, whether it is a Thursday at rothermal park where the fat stay-at-home moms scream at local teens for playing at the baseball or basketball courts or a Saturday morning of the old people flauting their new JCrew sweaters and Michael Kors handbags, walking around the village with their 3 masks and rubber gloves on. You can find them anywhere, sitting at Broad Street outside shooting every passerby a dirty look or at the yuppie bar Saisonnier, which is filled to the brim with rich central park looking people who make snide remarks.
So that's it for Kinderhook, it was a happy and enjoyable place to live and be for many years, but once the citiots arrived, they have taken their way of city life and ruined a great place.

A baseball team that is greatly over rated and always has the highest payroll each year. The Yankees also have the worst fans because they are all fags from New York, who have the worst accents of all the Places in the United States

Upstate New York refers to that portion of New York State which is not part of the New York City Metropolitan area. There is some debate as to the southernmost point of Upstate New York, but a general consensus exists that anything north of Westchester and Rockland Counties qualifies.
Upstate New York differs from Long Island, New York City, and Westchester/Rockland in a number of ways, among them: 1) Lower population density; 2) Lower socioeconomic status; 3) More conservative politics; 4) Midwestern accent and culture; 5) Colder winters with much greater snow totals.
Upstate New York has been in decline, economically, for many decades. Many of its cities, such as Schenectady and Buffalo, have experienced substantial de-population since the mid-20th Century. As a result, many Upstate New York residents harbor a great deal of resentment towards "Downstate".

New York City, brought to you by Upstate NY, paying for New York City since 1919.
The city where people live on other people's money.
