word garnish

Words that have little to no meaning, other making a sentence feel more dynamic.
A speaker using work garnish might make a sentence have a different intended meaning to someone else, who hears every word literally.
An example of word garnish is:
"I'm gonna do a little gaming today."
While the speaker intended to mean they will be gaming, someone might interpret as them doing a very light amount of gaming.

Someone stole my words

A mixture of “I’m lost for words” and “you took my breath away”. Happens when you forget what you were going to say, or when someone says what you were going to say.
“Hey, you know what this reminds me of?” - James

“What?” - Luke

Oh shit I forgot, someone stole my words.” - James

Word Vomit

Word vomit. It's mostly known from the 2004 movie, Mean Girls. It means that you say something without thinking about it, and most times, it's the truth, but sometimes, it's a lie, so that you can get what you want.
CLIP FROM MEAN GIRLS

J - "You try to act like you're so innocent, like, 'oh, I used to live in Africa, with all the little birdies, and the little monkeys'!

C - "You know what?! It's not my fault you're, like, in love with me, or something!" (word vomit)

The R-Word

Used to refer to the word “Retard” by certain groups who believe it is offensive to disabled people, because it was a medical term for people with intellectual disabilities and is now commonly used as an insult, which means “a stupid or foolish person, which is ironic because people in this group still often use words like “idiot”, “moron”, and “imbecile” which also used to be medical terms, but have since acquired a new definition.
Tim: You’re so retarded, Dan
Dan: Hey! Don’t use the R-word, idiot
Tim: Why is idiot ok but retard isn’t?
Dan: Uhhhhhhh…..
