Get the Social weightliftingmug. A phenomenon driven by COVID-19 and the direction for social distancing. Social instancing is the brief contact made due to the desire to be close to someone at least for an instant due to the lack of human contact from shelter in place.
Patrick: Where's Paige?
Cara: I think she is out for a walk. She has been cooped up inside for so long, I think she needed to get out for some social instancing to be close to a few folks she has not seen for the past 3 weeks.

This person might be in charge of limiting drinks, drugs, and flirtatious activity. This person should not be confused with a HATER as they are doing it for the benefit of said person!
