Really "soft" rock music, that always sucks. Technically it is rock, but the lyrics and melody are less extreme to regular sounding rock music. Bubble Gum refers to the "sugar coating" over the music that makes it appealing to tweens.

1) Is that Sugar Ray? damn, change the radio I hate that Bubble Gum rock.
2) I hate when tweens think they're so hard because they listen to bubble gum rock.
