In 2005, the Xbox 360 launched. It was a superior console for a while, since the Playstation 3 had a processor so hard to program, developers mad games for the 360 instead. This console is prone to overheating, which caused the venerable Red Ring of Death. In 2013, the Xbox One released. People trashed on it, due to it's generic design and it's marketing. Altough hated at first, the Xbox One started gaining traction due to it's later versions. In December of 2019, Microsoft announced the Xbox Series X. This became pure meme material due to it's vertical box design.
