It also had little talking characters (including a dog named Rover) which tried to give helpful advice but were usually just annoying. Bob Lazar

This guy was hired by the US military to attempt to reverse-engineer an unknown physics defying air-craft - until he realized that keeping this technology a secret was a crime against humanity - so he came forward with his story. His college attendance was wiped from existence by the government in order to discredit him. We know that he actually DID go to MIT because of a newspaper article about Bob that the government seemingly missed.
