a term originally meant to refer to an important, admirable, or difficult undertaking. Now, it is used by self-important people with low self-awareness to brag about a boring accomplishment that required an amount of effort, dedication, or money. Even worse are those that use the word to describe a newfound, insipid hobby or change of habit (e.g. My crochet journey).
