A typically white female co-worker in a cubicle setting. Often named Susan, Suzanne, Sue, Debbie, or Deb. Lives in a suburb and is terrified of the "city" and anything associated with it. Sports a haircut that implies she'd always like to speak to the manager. Wears Christmas sweaters in February. Always likes to talk to you but only about her child's high school sports or church outings.

Franchise Sized Fuckup

Simply put, an unecessary mistake, which stemmed from a smaller problem, which didn't get resolved. As a result the issue got a lot bigger.

The term Franchise is used as the goal of many small businesses is to become well established, with a solid foundation and processes, which will enable them to Franchise out. This enables a small business to become a larger business.

Father: Do you take the car in to get repaired yesterday like I asked you?
Son: Umm, no. I forgot. What's the big deal?
Father: The big deal is, I need to pick your mother up from the airport in an hour and god knows whether I'm going to get there and back in one piece... this is a Franchise Sized Fuckup!

eighty-sixed

Traditionally, to be eighty-sixed was to be cut off from further booze service. This term comes all the way from the wild west (and not the 1980's as previously defined), where a bartender would only serve the 86 proof whiskey to customers already too drunk (86 proof was reserved for the ladies. The wild west was tough).
Today it means to be cut-off at the bar, kicked out of the bar, or to be cut-off or barred from something in general.

I went to the bar at happy hour and was eighty-sixed by the bartender by 9:00.
