Egoseismic

Believing that the epicenter of earthquakes has something to do with one's location.
Friend A: Maybe moving to California has moved the location of earthquakes away from us.
Friend B: Stop thinking Egoseismically

Egoseismic Thinking

The belief that you actually have an effect on where earthquakes occur in the world.
Link: "Maybe it's us. Maybe us coming out here redirected the epicenter of U.S. earthquakes to where we were from."
Rhett: "That's called egocentric thinking, Link. That you think that we had something to do with the earthquakes in the world."
Link: "I would call it egoseismic thinking."

egoseismic thinking

A way of thinking where a person believes seismic activity in a certain area is based on their physical location.
"We moved from North Carolina to California and there hasn't been an earthquake in California ever since, but there has been one in North Carolina"
"Maybe us coming out here has redirected the epicenter of US earthquakes to where we were from"
"That's egoseismic thinking"

Egoseismic thinking

The belief that wherever you go, earthquakes flee from your presence.
I moved to California a year ago, and there haven't been any earthquakes at all. It must be me.

That's really Egocentric thinking.

No, that's Egoseismic thinking.

egoseismic thinking

The practice of thinking one's self is responsible for the frequency and location of seismic activity i.e and earthquake.
Link: "When I moved to California, there haven't been any earthquakes. I think they stopped because of me."

Rhett: "That's some egoseismic thinking, Link."

Egoseismic Thinking

The egocentric belief that earthquake patterns shift away from you depending on where you are in the world.
"Hey Rhett, I think when we moved to California the earthquakes shifted back to North Carolina where we were!" "No Link, thats just egoseismic thinking."
