Slay

( Adjective) somthing you say when something is cool, amazing, and superior. If someone likes something you like, you might be like "Slay!! 💖💞💅" because they're really cool and have good taste. Most likely popularized by "Formation" by Beyoncé in 2016, slay would have been seen as outdated and cringy a few years ago. But it seems the resurgence in popularity of a video of Bebe Rexa saying "Slay!... SLAY!!!" after doing her make up good, Slay may be hip and cool again, albeit in an ironic way.

"I walked to the record section and saw they had a bunch of Taylor Swift records. I screamed "omg slay!!!"

"I saw someone listening to Melanie Martinez today, I was like "Slay she's so umderated!!!"

"I caught my mom listening to Lorde this morning, it was so slay of her!!!"
