A disparaging term to denote someone living in a Western European country, typically referring to British people. Derived from the word "Europe", the name has served as a counter to the British term "Yank". First mentions of the term date back to World War II, and usage has increased subtly in recent years as the world has been more directly exposed to British people through social media.
British person: Oy bruv, you Yanks are too schewpid to use a roundabout!
