The journalistic style of many Mainstream Media NEWS organizations that purports to foretell the future rather than report on the present. Often times used as a persuasive tool to make a population DO or BELIEVE in something.
Did you see CNN last night? Fortune Cookie NEWS claims the end of the world is coming unless we vote for candidate "X".
